ABOUT THE ARTIST
Dhisk Jointed is an up and coming artist who specialises in Electro, Asiatic, Boogie Bass and Funk. Dhisk Jointed began DJing in the mid nineties and honed his craft for a number of years; playing at venues that included Catch 22, Clinic, Ministry of Sound, Mass, The Rocket, and District. Although he took inspiration from a variety of musical styles that include old Hip-Hop and sixties/seventies Funk, Dhisk Jointed was determined to form his own unique sound that amalgamated elements of specific genres that inspired him.
In the early 2000s, Dhisk Jointed began producing his own material; as vocals weren't an option and samples were limited at the time, Dhisk Jointed entered “any remix contest” he could find. After purchasing an Indian themed sample pack in 2006, the up and coming artist produced a number of tracks that were featured regularly by Bobby Friction and Nihal on BBC Radio 1 as well as receiving airplay on the asian network.
From 2010 to 2020, Dhisk Jointed has spent most of his time in the studio “recording guitar and bass, editing and programming drumbeats”. Having finely honed his craft, Dhisk Jointed now plans to release his music to the world.

This single was originally written ten years ago but recently received its revival with additional bass, guitar and various creative elements that have been developed by Dhisk Jointed over the past decade. The single lasts three minutes and thirty-three seconds and sits at a steady 105bpm.
The track commences with a seventeen second introductory section that features a foundational guitar riff that is combined with ambient Asiatic vocalisations and a swirling effect; setting the melodic tone for the track. The beat kicks in at the 0:17 mark and resultantly drives the rhythmic intensity of the single. A vocal transition at 0:37 shifts the melody without detracting from the overall melodic flow of the instrumentation.
The breakdown section from 1:40 to 2:21 provides the perfect amount of dynamic diversification with a subtle piano adding to the overall creative flare of the production. By the time the track has finished, the catchy melodic hook will have thoroughly embedded itself within the mind of the listener and will resultantly make you want to hit that replay button immediately.
