Danny Merriman is a rising artist who burst onto the streaming scene in 2011. The Nottingham based songwriter has always had a natural affinity for composition and musicianship. After releasing five slap bass instrumental albums called ‘Slap Dope Vol 1-5’, Danny Merriman set up the Facebook group The Slap Bass Formula which has over five thousand members. Although he receives creative inspiration from a number of artists such as Bob Marley, UB40, Level 42, The Beatles and Eric Clapton, Danny Merriman combines a variety of compositional elements to form his unique sound.
To date, Danny has eleven albums and sixteen singles/EPs in his online discography. Some of his most popular tracks include the likes of ‘The World Got Crazy’, ‘How Could I Know That It Was You’, and ‘You Can Say That Again’. With almost one thousand regular monthly listeners on Spotify alone, there is no denying the fact that Danny Merriman is developing a dedicated following of loyal fans.
