ABOUT THE ARTIST
Daniel Besuijen is an up and coming artist who burst onto the music scene back in 2009 with his album ‘No Depression’. With a plethora of material from his initial years starting out, including his 2011 EP ‘Five Unwise’ and his 2016 album ‘The Witch Riding Your Back’, Daniel Besuijen began developing a name for himself in Alberta and Saskatchewan. He also recorded the split acoustic album: ‘Mirror, Mirror’ with Corey Ruecker.
In 2019, Daniel Besuijen released three records with three different bands; Yama Hama’s ‘Fright Night’, The Venus Extraction’s self titled release on which he played lead guitar, and Robot Hive’s ‘Prophylaxis’. ‘Prophylaxis’ went on to be voted the number three best album of 2019 by SaskMusic. In addition to his plethora of creative compositional work, Daniel Besuijen has also performed at a number of festivals, opening up for the likes of Monster Truck, Dragonette and Bob Log III.
To date, Daniel Besuijen has two releases in his online discography. Some of his most popular releases include the likes of ‘I Wanna Be Your Dog (But I Won’t Roll over No More)’, ‘New Year Old Me’, and ‘Nothing Compares’. With almost four hundred followers on Instagram, Daniel Besuijen continues to build upon his growing following with the release of his latest album.
