ABOUT THE ARTIST
CatEaters are an up and coming independent band who are originally from West Germany and were founded back in 2014. Although the band takes creative influence from the likes of Turbonegro, Gluecifer, Blink-182, Hellacopters , Backyard Babies, Ramones, and Motörhead, CatEaters amalgamate a variety of stylistic elements from multiple genres to form their unique and original sound that has been described as “Glam-Punk'n'Roll”.
With a plethora of experiences in the music industry, CatEaters have toured across Germany, France, Belgium and Switzerland, in addition to playing multiple shows at Turbojugendpartys; the worldwide fan club of Turbonegro.
The band’s debut EP, ‘First Love’, dropped in 2016 and established the band within their unique genre classification. Since then, CatEaters have released one album: ‘Delicious’, and one single: ‘Weekend’, that are available to stream in their online discography.
Some of their most popular tracks include the likes of ‘Celebrating’, gathering ninety-three thousand streams, ‘Small Town Sherif’, with ninety-two thousand streams, and ‘Punk Rock Romance’, amassing almost seventy-five thousand streams on Spotify alone.
With hundreds of thousands of streams, there is no denying the fact that CatEaters have developed a dedicated following of loyal fans who will be eager to hear their latest album this Sunday!

Our featured album, ‘RARE’ by CatEaters, is out on the 1st of November and will be available to stream on all major streaming platforms! The album was recorded in tonstudio45 Lahnstein, Germany, produced by both Kurt Ebelhäuser and Michael Wern, and was mastered by Andreas Jung. The record consists of thirteen tracks.
Although the album is technically grouped under one genre classification, CatEaters purposefully drew upon multiple genre styles (including punk/punk-rock/punk and roll) to create a diverse range of tracks that showcase the band’s creative compositional talent; from the emotive vocal color, upbeat rhythmic percussion and driven electric guitars of ‘Weekend’, the catchy melodic hook and systematic inclusion of stylistically panned backing vocals in ‘Pool Attendant’, the heavy/distorted tone of the fast paced electric guitar progression that seamlessly combines with the intense percussion and foundational bass line of ‘Awesome Nights in Belgium’, to the authentic vocal, punk-styled lyricism and powerful opening riff that is made all the more memorable when the drum line kicks in and drives the rhythmic intensity of the instrumentation in ‘Dance’.
From the well balanced production and creative instrumentation, to the authentic and original vocal performances, fans of CatEaters, as well as those who appreciate new and creative music, will definitely want to hear this album.
