ABOUT THE ARTIST
Ayeimtuff, also known as Wodie, is an up and coming artist who burst onto the streaming scene earlier this year. The New Orleans based artist began making music in December of 2017 from his home studio. Having learned the skills needed to record on his own, Ayeimtuff began producing his original tracks. Although he takes creative inspiration from artists such as Lil Wayne, Chief Keef, and Speaker Knockerz, Ayeimtuff combines a variety of stylistic elements from multiple genres to create his authentic sound.
“My style of music [is based on] pain, growing up, and catchy vibes about Life of a WODIE”
To date, Ayeimtuff has two albums and three singles/EPs in his online discography. Some of his most popular tracks include the likes of ‘Down 2 Kill’, ‘I get the clue’, and ‘jealousy’. FEATURED RELEASE
Our featured EP, ‘LIFE OF A WODIE’ by Ayeimtuff, is to be released soon and will be available to stream on all major streaming platforms! The EP consists of nine tracks:
‘heart full of pain’, ‘life of a wodie’, ‘momma’, ‘nobody’, ‘slide like butter’, ‘sometimes u gotta let go’, ‘talk to em’, ‘to my self’, and ‘who want love that got pain like I do’.
Although the album is technically grouped under one genre classification, each track delivers diverse compositional elements that showcase Ayeimtuff’s songwriting ability; from the smooth percussive flow, stylistically effected vocals and atmospheric instrumentation of ‘heart full of pain’, the memorable melodic hook, authentic lyricism and seamlessly synchronised vocals in ‘life of a wodie’, the ambient piano that blends perfectly with the intricately layered strings, synth, clean electric riff and steady bass/beat in ‘talk to em’, to the clean vocal color and creative harmonised backing vocal layers that add a dynamic depth to the overall sound of ‘who want love that got pain like I do’.
From the well balanced production and creative instrumentation, to the impressive vocal performance, fans of Ayeimtuff, as well as those who appreciate new and creative music, will definitely want to hear this EP.
