ABOUT THE ARTIST
Anthony Perri is a musician/producer who burst onto the music scene back in 2018. Although he began his musical journey as a saxophone/guitar player, Anthony gradually recognised his natural talent for producing music. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Afrojack, Tiësto and Hardwell, Anthony Perri focused his creative compositional skills on the production of electronic music. He is currently working on three EPs that cover various modern genres. Anthony has worked alongside artists that include Cami Izquierdo, Erin Alvey, IntoAlter, and BLVD, whilst also working for the premiere EDM station in the country: Revolution 93.5 Radio.
To date, Anthony Perri has three single releases available to stream in his online discography: ‘Bring You Home’ (2018), ‘In the Mix’ (2020), and our featured single ‘Fuck Corona’ (2020). With two releases dropping since the start of this year, it’s fair to say that Anthony Perri is thoroughly establishing himself as an artist to keep an eye on going into the second half of 2020.

Our featured single, ‘Fuck Corona’ by Anthony Perri, is out now and available to stream on all major streaming platforms! The single lasts three minutes and thirty-three seconds and sits at a steady 140bpm. The track commences with a thirteen second introduction that combines an ambient synth with an effected sound bite of a media conversation addressing the Corona virus; setting the melodic tone for the rest of the single.
The beat kicks in at the 0:14 mark and resultantly drives the rhythmic flow of the instrumentation. Additional synth layers are added to create a partial crescendo that peaks around the 0:27 mark. A momentary percussive drop creates a sense of anticipation that is satiated by a powerful kick from 0:41. The vocal color is stylistic and clean; utilising subtle effects to create a memorable melodic hook.
